Homesteading Our Apple Orchard and Life Along the Way

Blog

Dried Orange Garland

November 25, 2017

Simple and pretty holiday garland.

How to dry the oranges:

-preheat oven to 250

-slice oranges thin

-pat each side of the orange slices with a paper towel

-lay them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

-bake for 3-4 hours, turning them once halfway through.

Once they’re dried, I let them sit overnight until I messed with them. Then I took a large needle and threaded them with string. That’s it! Super easy and fun! My next endeavor will be to make a little wreath with some of these beauties.
